Jort Kelder has so far spent no less than 70,000 euros on his failed lawsuit against internet giant Google. “Jesus”, responds a shocked Shownieuws reporter.
According to Jort Kelder, it is a shame that Google allows advertisements on its network in which the image of celebrities – including his own – is used to defraud people. People are called in those advertisements to invest in bitcoins. He filed a lawsuit against Google, but he has now lost it.
Jort disappointed
According to the court, Google is doing enough to prevent the spread of those fake ads. Unbelievable, Jort thinks the statement. “It’s a gloomy day for me. It’s a beautiful spring, but for me it’s really winter now. A very disappointing verdict”, he reacts in front of the Shownieuws camera.
Jort doesn’t understand it at all. “It’s a verdict that really surprises me, frankly. Surely it can’t be that anonymous scammers are taking over Google’s ad network and I can’t do anything about it?
70 thousand euros
How much has it all cost Jort so far? “Oh, you should know. My lawyer has been very reasonable. I believe 70 thousand euros.”
The reporter of Shownieuws reacts completely shocked: “Jesus!”
Jort: “Yes, you have to work hard for that, but not me, huh? A difference.”
Bram reacts
Bram Moszkowicz, Jort’s nemesis, is – how could it be otherwise – on the side of Google. “I understand the judge’s position.”
Colleague Ronald Molendijk: “That’s real bullshit!”
Bram at the end of the item: “I wish him the best. You know that.”
