Jort Kelder and Welmoed Sijtsma are doing an excellent job as a presentation duo of Op1. They will provide the presentation this whole week and, according to viewing figures professor Tina Nijkamp, they attract many young viewers.
It is also summer for the presenters of Op1 and that is why many duos are on holiday. As a solution, the duos now take care of a whole week, so that the others can travel. Where it was the turn of the almost elderly duo of Omroep MAX last week, this week the WNL duo Jort Kelder and Welmoed Sijtsma are behind the talk show table.
Millionaire
Jort and Welmoed have been doing great all week. They even pushed Op1 almost through the million mark yesterday: 975 thousand people (29 percent market share) watched the broadcast on NPO 1, in which it was again largely about the fierce farmer protests in our country.
Viewership professor Tina Nijkamp has noticed that the two score relatively well in the younger target group. “Op1 is having a particularly good week with the duo Jort Kelder and Welmoed Sijtsma”, she analyzes on her ratings juice channel.
Lots of young viewers
Tina considers it a major achievement that Jort and Welmoed almost manage to penetrate the million mark. “In the target group 20 to 54 years, they also score a lot higher throughout the week than the average for Op1: yesterday 17.4 percent. Jort and Welmoed are therefore also popular with younger viewers.”
Competitor RENZE continues to score cautiously on RTL 4 with this time 568 thousand viewers (16 percent), again not enough for a place in the top 15. Show news Summer edition, the SBS 6 equivalent of a talk show, came out earlier in the evening at 113 thousand viewers (3 percent). “Wow”, analyzes Tina.
The Smartest and B&B
The big winners at prime time were NPO 2’s De Slimste Mens with 1.6 million viewers (35 percent) and RTL 4’s B&B Vol Liefde with 857 thousand viewers (20 percent). Furthermore, especially NPO 2’s Nieuwsuur scored well, namely 772 thousand viewers (20 percent).
NPO 1 disappoints with 647 thousand viewers (15 percent) for Matthijs Goes Door In Concert, while SBS 6 with Mr. Frank Visser Doet Uitspraak got stuck at 305 thousand viewers (7 percent).
Viewing figures
Other programs that did not make the top 15 include Hart van Nederland (514 thousand), Shownieuws (404 thousand), 112 Today (353 thousand) and Je Huis Op Orde (292 thousand).
