Dance artist Jorma Uotinen has been posting new pictures on Instagram for a long time. Uotinen was admitted to the intensive care unit at the end of March, after which he has spent a quiet life on social media.

– My health is good enough, otherwise I will not open the matter in public, the artist commented to Iltalehte about his health in March.
The experienced TV face has thrown himself into a nostalgic mood, because he shared a picture of himself in his youth on Instagram in honor of May Day. Uotinen poses in a black and white photo with a student cap. The young man has a beautiful rose in his hand.

Uotinen has talked about his health problems during his career. When the artist was 19 years old, he fell ill with Guillain-Barré syndrome, i.e. multiple radiculitis.
– Getting sick was the hardest experience of my life. On the ambulance trip from Pori to Turku, they had guessed: now Jorma will die, he commented to Iltalehti in 2020.
The situation was scary, because the man couldn’t even lift a fork. In the end, the dancer’s condition improved, after which Uotinen focused fully on his career.
– The experience deepened the wonder and meaning of the movement. After my recovery, I had no choice but to dance and enjoy the movement, Uotinen stated in an interview with Iltalehti.
