Bezzecchi was the first to break the 30-second barrier by lapping in 1:29.789, but on another side of the track the Spaniard Jorge Martín was below the record splits and when he crossed the finish line he achieved his goal, stopping the clock at 1:29.491, two tenths of a second over Binder (1:29.699) and almost three over Bezzecchi, who had the record since last year at 1:29.671.
