Fenerbahçe’s Uruguayan defender Mauricio Lemos made a statement to Radio Sport 890. Here are Lemos’ explanations:
“WE HAVE A GOOD CAMP WITH JESUS”
“We had a good pre-season camp with a coach (Jorge Jesus) who fits my qualifications. Now I have the opportunity to play back-to-back matches. We have many matches, including European competitions. I continue to train to be on the field in the best way possible.
“My WORST TIME WAS IN ITALY”
My worst time was spent in Italy. I played very few matches, I had no continuity. That’s why I needed to go to Spain and feel like a football player again. I transferred to Las Palmas in the Spanish 2nd League. I did this to gain confidence and get back on the field.
Playing for the national team is an unforgettable thing. Defending Uruguay is always a source of pride for Uruguayans.
