“It has been seen and not seen,” he acknowledged in an interview with Radio de Catalunya.

Jordi González has not taken the cancellation of ‘La plaza’ badly. Despite its short duration, the presenter has assimilated well the disappearance of his program: “The only one who has lost his job “It’s me, and this is not a problem either because I have worked a lot and I have enough to live on,” he explained.

“It has been seen and not seen,” he acknowledged in an interview with Radio de Catalunya. ‘La plaza’ premiered on September 27 and said goodbye eight installments later on October 6 with poor records that did not exceed 7% screen share.

The communicator feels satisfied with the work done, mainly because it is a program made by RTVE: “It gave me that extra hope that comes when you do something of your own. It was not successful, I don’t know if it was in the format or the broadcast time, because we came out at the same time as other channels with brutal resources and we were a wooden sword,” he claimed.

The journalist took advantage of the interview to talk about a project that did not come to light because of the early elections: “There was the opportunity to present a news report, but since there were elections, everything stopped. I was going to start every day saying: ‘Good morning, Spain‘. I was going to do a news report, which I was very excited about,” he confessed during the colloquium.

From his words, everything seems to indicate that Jordi González was going to be in charge of hosting ‘Mañaneros’: “That was suspended, we’ll see if we do it in the future. It was when they proposed me to do ‘Lazos de sangre’, which has been renewed, and suddenly they suggested that I do the afternoon with ‘La plaza'”.
