Joost Eerdmans finds it difficult to tell Gerard Joling and Gordon apart. “It was one of those two!” he shouted in Jinek last night, to the hilarity of the other guests at the table.
Eva Jinek looked back on the beginning of the corona crisis in her talk show last night. She showed how the minister of health at the time announced the first corona case in our country. “Surreal. As if it were also thirty years ago, a historic event. And that was it then, of course,” notes politician Joost Eerdmans.
At the table with Geer
Joost himself says he has had corona twice. “I’ve had it too, and quite intensely, this summer. I didn’t expect it to be so intense. But I remember when Gerard Joling was sitting here, and then I was also sitting here at the table, and then he said: ‘It will never be the same again! We will never see those full stadiums again!’”
Many people thought we would never go back to normal. “Then we thought: that could indeed be the future. And now you think: how could you come up with it?”
“Or was it Gross?!”
Then Joost laughs: “Or it was Gordon for that matter! One of those two!”
It leads to hilarity at the table. Politician Jan Paternotte after his burst of laughter: “The Toppers are now just getting another stadium full.”
Joost: “And everything will continue.”
Eva: “Thank God, guys. Thank God.”
Incidentally, it was Gerard who sat at the RTL talk show table with Joost in December 2020. He even handed out quite a few compliments to Joost.
Not in top 15
Unfortunately for Eva, she did not end up in the top 15 yesterday with her talk show on RTL 4. With 607 thousand viewers (17 percent), she got stuck in twentieth place. Fortunately for her, Op1 attracted just a little less attention with 574 thousand viewers (25 percent).
Who does make a flying start to the week? Arjen Lubach. His week opener managed to entertain 1 million viewers (27 percent) on the late evening immediately preceding Op1.
