Awel, de gratis en anonieme luisterlijn voor Kinderen en Jongeren, heeft jaar bijna een Kwart Meer opproepen dan in 2021.
Previous year kreeg Awel 519.328 oproepen – zowel via chat, mail as telefoon. In 2021 there were still 421,720, in 2020 267,244. 40 percent of the results from the previous year within via the telephone, 25 percent of the study by e-mail. Also het aantal unique chatbezoekers steeg: from 88.085 to 137.029 in a year tijd.
The growing trend is going to be there soon, but it will never happen per se because it is generally unacceptable. “Dat children and longer hulp in information zoeken is also a positive signaal en heeft mogelijk te maden met de stijgende aandacht van onze maatschappij voor mentale gezondheid.”
Vlinders in de buik
