Enlund played last season in the German premier league for Wolfsburg. Before Germany, he played 11 seasons in the KHL, where Enlund left Tappara after the 2009–10 season.
– Great to have Jonas in Lahti. He is an experienced and reliable attacker who can play both in the center and on the wing. He is a seasoned player in tough situations and a great addition to our team this season, commented Pelicans’ sports director Janne Laukkanen in the bulletin.
The 34-year-old scored a total of 120+169 in 546 games in the KHL. In Tappara, before his departure to the KHL, Enlund shared the top scorer in the SM league with 28 hits.
– A really long time has passed since the last league season. It would be good to continue where we left off, Enlund said.
