A telephone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson may take place on February 1, and not on January 31, as previously planned. Reuters.
“British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will still have a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but it may be on Tuesday, and not on Monday, as previously planned,” said a spokesman for the British prime minister.
Johnson himself said he was going to call Putin “as soon as he can,” the agency writes.
Johnson was scheduled to have a telephone conversation with Putin on January 31st. The next day, the prime minister is scheduled to visit Ukraine together with British Foreign Minister Liz Truss. Later, she will travel to Russia with Secretary of Defense Ben Wallace.
