The million-dollar lawsuits that Johnny Depp and Amber Heard filed against each other, with whom Johnny Depp started to fall in love on the set of the movie ‘The Rum Diary’, in which they acted together in 2011, got married in 2015 and divorced in 2017, were concluded last Wednesday.
In the unanimous decision, the seven-member jury decided that Heard had slandered his ex-wife Depp. In addition, the jurors did not believe Heard’s statements regarding his marriage and decided that his allegations had tarnished not only Depp but also other people; ruled that the actress acted in “bad faith”.
On the day of the verdict, fans of the famous star waiting outside the courtroom shouted, “We love you Johnny!” he shouted chanting.
WE WILL PAY COMPENSATION
After Amber Heard lost her defamation lawsuit against the actor, it was decided that in addition to the $10 million in punitive damages, Depp would have to pay an additional $5 million in compensatory damages; however, the figure was later reduced from 5 million to 350,000, which is the state of Virginia’s limit for such compensation.
The jury also agreed to one of Herad’s charges of defamation through Johnny Depp’s lawyer, and decided that Depp should pay the actress $2 million in damages.

Camille Vasquez, 37, has become one of the most talked about names in Hollywood, as one of Depp’s lawyers who helped him win his case against his ex-wife Amber Heard.
Depp and Vasquez were caught in the courtroom holding each other’s hands, hugging and chatting very closely before the trial, which began in the US state of Virginia on April 11, came to an end.
Fans of the actor also shared hundreds of comments on social media, saying that Depp and Vasquez look good on each other.

The 58-year-old actor has amassed more than 1.6 million followers as of Monday evening, on his account with an ‘occasional actor’ in his bio. Depp hasn’t followed anyone or liked any posts.

Heard’s sister, Whitney Henriquez, made her first public comment on the defamation lawsuit the previous day and posted a statement on her Instagram account.
Sharing a square that reads #istandwithamberheard (I am with Amber Heard) on a black background in white letters, Henriquez included the following statements in his post:
“I’m still with you, sister. I’ll always be proud of you yesterday, today and tomorrow – for defending yourself, for speaking out in both Virginia and the UK, and being the voice of so many who can’t tell what’s going on behind closed doors. We knew there was going to be war and we didn’t have much of a chance. But you stood up and spoke no matter what. I’m honored to testify on your behalf and I would do it a million times over, because I know what I saw. The facts are on your side. I’m so sorry that this didn’t reflect on the jury’s decision, But I will never give up on you. No one who is by your side will ever give up on you. I am with you forever.”
