Johnny Depp is primarily known as an actor and musician, but he is also a prolific artist. Depp’s pop art-inspired works have now sold in record time.
The star sold 780 of his artworks through a British art gallery chain. Depp told about the sale of his artwork on his Instagram account. The interest was so great that the Castle Fine Art website temporarily crashed.
According to the information, the total price of the sold works is three million pounds, or about 3.5 million euros.
In Depp’s comprehensive Friends and heroes -artwork collection (Friends and Heroes) featured images of iconic stars such as of Elizabeth Taylor, About Al Pacino and About Bob Dylan.
The asking price for each work was at least 3,950 pounds, or about 4,700 euros. The set of four pictures, on the other hand, cost 14,950 pounds, or about 17,800 euros.
Depp appeared in Finland in June when he was doing a gig By Jeff Beck in the assembly.
Depp and his former partner Amber Heard’s the trial ended on June 1. The actors accused each other of defamation.
Heard was ordered to pay Depp €9.7 million in damages for defamation, while Depp was ordered to pay approximately €1.9 million to Heard. Both are appealing their convictions.
