Louis XV

Johnny Depp plays the role of King Louis XV in the film. The latter was allowed to call himself the King of France for 59 years, from 1715 to 1774. The man was liked by the French population, but at the end of his life the king was discredited. He was accused of corruption and debauchery. Not much is known about the storyline of the film itself at this point.

The news comes a few weeks after Johnny Depp won his lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard. According to the jury, the ‘Aquaman’ actress was indeed guilty of defamation. The actor himself seems to have forgotten the whole process in the meantime. “He’s not even talking about the case anymore,” an insider told People magazine. “He sued Amber Heard at the time because he felt it was necessary. In the meantime, he has picked up the thread again. He enjoys performing and has a busy summer ahead of him. He is looking forward to getting back to work. He just wants his career back. He loves acting.”
