Johnny Depp announces European tour and leaves lawsuit | Stars

The Hollywood Vampires, which also include rock stars Joe Perry (Aerosmith), Alice Cooper and Tommy Henriksen (Alice Cooper), kick off their European tour on June 20, 2023 in Oberhausen. The last show announced for now is scheduled for June 30, 2023 in Mainz.

In March 2021, the Hollywood Vampires had to cancel their tour due to the pandemic. “We are extremely disappointed to announce that the Hollywood Vampires have had to cancel our rescheduled UK/European tour this summer,” they said in a statement at the time. “We kept trying to make it happen, but due to the uncertainty of the travel restrictions, it’s just not possible.” They added: “Thank you for your understanding, and we WILL rock you again once the world is back to normal!” That now seems to be finally happening.

Lawsuit

Depp has already performed several times in Europe in recent weeks with Jeff Beck, with whom he will also release an album soon. Even when it became known that he had won his defamation lawsuit against ex Amber Heard, the actor was in England for a performance. A source of people states that while Depp is very relieved, he no longer wants to deal with the lawsuit and just wants to go back to doing what he likes.

“He doesn’t even talk about the process anymore. He filed the lawsuit because he thought it necessary. However, he has gone further. He is now able to get back to what he loves to do. He enjoys performing and has a busy summer ahead of him. He also looks forward to continuing to work. He just wants his career back. He likes to film.”
