John de Mol receives strong criticism from Sébas Diekstra because of his changed Peter Gillis policy. The Voice’s lawyervictims is sharp: “Viewing figures outweigh victims of domestic violence.”
John de Mol’s Talpa is now becoming a bit of a caricature of itself. It seems that the lack of a moral compass is simply encouraged by the staff there. The ‘independent experts’ of Shownieuws also do not express any criticism of the fact that their boss is so attached to the controversial Peter Gillis.
Immoral SBS 6
For a moment, John and his companions seemed to have come to their senses, but their Gillis policy has now been overturned. Where they claimed earlier this summer that they will only make a decision about a sequel to his soap Massa is Kassa once the judge has ruled on the abuse of his ex-girlfriend Nicol Kremers, they are now withdrawing that.
It is now Gillis policy that Talpa will continue with that soap until he is eventually convicted. If the holiday park villain also appeals, he can simply parade across the screen at the somewhat immoral SBS 6 until the end of days.
Sebas critical
Sébas Diekstra, who assists the victims of John’s TV child The Voice of Holland, finds it unbelievable. “This so-called sudden turn could not only qualify as immoral, but also sends a signal that profits and ratings go ahead of victims of domestic violence,” he says on X.
He continues: “That financial interests in situations such as these take precedence over those of victims became painfully clear during the production of The Voice of Holland.”
Tina surprised
Tina Nijkamp, the former channel boss of SBS 6, cannot reach it with her cap. “John de Mol took out Wegmisusers, Red Mijn Vakantie and De Smaakpolitie as the first action of the channel when he became the owner of SBS, because it did not have the look he wanted, it had to be more chic.”
She continues: “He also had the studio of Hart van Nederland and Shownieuws renovated for a lot of money, because it also had to be more chic and gallant. But now he always orders a new season of Massa is Kassa!”
What does Nicole say?
What does Nicol Kremers, Peter’s abused ex-girlfriend, think of it? Her manager Wouter tells RTL Boulevard: “Nicol doesn’t watch anything at all, she is just focused on her own things. She also prefers that we don’t forward things like that to her and that she just focus on herself and her own plans for the future.”
How is it possible that Talpa just hangs on to someone like that? “I am now told and forwarded so often that there are stories, rumors that Talpa has only recorded the next season because it is financed by Peter himself.”
