The triple storm Dudley, Eunice and Franklin left a trail of destruction in our country in four days. The damage? About 500 million euros. All very terrible and that is why John de Mol comes with a program in which people get help. In addition to storm victims, corona victims may also knock on the door.

New program

The new program was announced yesterday in Shownieuws. “We have heard in the corridors about a program that is coming,” said presenter Airen Mylene.

Her colleague Albert Verlinde said: “Yes, yes, that is something that Talpa is developing to broadcast on SBS 6. A program about people who have come into contact with a huge financial problem through no fault of their own.”

Storm damage

All photos of storm damage immediately appear behind Albert. They are looking for that kind of people at SBS 6, people who have been completely destroyed. “It is possible, like last weekend with that storm, that you think: hey, the roof has blown off and I am not properly insured. Or at an association where that happened.”

However, corona victims may also knock on the door. “Or from: I have lost a lot because of corona. For those people, if you are such a person yourself or you know someone who has experienced that, SBS 6 is working on a program to help them.”

To register

The call for candidates from Talpa is roughly the same: “The past period has been a hit again. Storm Eunice and Franklin hit a lot of people. For example, roofs were ripped off club buildings and people lost all their furniture due to water damage.”

“We are looking for people who need help for a new program. Do you know or are you someone who got into trouble through no fault of their own? Think of uninsured storm damage (…) or people who are at a loss because of all the hassle surrounding corona. (…) Then let us know immediately!”
