John de Mol keeps track of which Talpa stars insult him exactly and what they have said. René van der Gijp found this out during a recent meeting with the TV billionaire.
The men from Today Inside regularly sit down with the management of Talpa and, according to them, it is unbelievable exactly how things work. “We always have very nice conversations with the total management”, reveals Johan Derksen in the most recent broadcast of the football talk show.
“Don’t criticize!”
Hélène Hendriks then: “And then you will point out to each other what you do and don’t do well?”
Johan: “No, then we mainly point out to the management what they are doing wrong. We have an ego from here to the Randstad, we cannot have that.”
René van der Gijp: “Don’t criticize us. Then you really have a problem. hahahaha!”
Johan: “Who does that John de Mol think he is then?”
“So bad, hahaha!”
René sometimes cannot believe the attitude of such a management. “You really have to record those conversations! Those are so bad, haha. The other day De Mol sat next to me. That man is going to make a whole list of everything we have said about him. And I say to him: ‘Is there any lie then?!’ Hahahahaha.”
Johan admits that John does indeed keep an insult list. “And the great thing is: the AD is sabotaging me as the spokesperson for De Mol, but when you come to De Mol, he does indeed have such a list of insults that we have about him here. [uitgesproken]! Hahaha.”

Can all of this really come out? Wilfred: “At the time he said: ‘This conversation is confidential.’ So we’re not going to say anything about that. Well, with this one! haha.”
The AD states that Johan is used by the Talpa management to influence public opinion about the media company. He defends, for example, keeping the controversial presenters Johnny de Mol and Peter Gillis on the tube.
