John de Bever thinks Carlo Boszhard’s criticism that his real-life soap would attract too few viewers for a Televizier nomination makes no sense. “The ratings are really not that bad.”
The three nominees for the annual television prize of the TV guide Televizier have been announced. In addition to Even Tot Hier and The Hunting Season, John de Bever’s real-life soap also has a chance to win the Golden Televizier Ring. The folk singer has waged a huge campaign to reach the last three with De Bevers.
‘View figures are good’
Carlo Boszhard, who hoped to have a chance with his show Make Up Your Mind, questions the voting success of De Bevers. “When I hear that there are even banners along the road to vote for De Bevers, it goes a bit too far for me. More voters than viewers, although that may sound a bit negative,” he sneezes.
The folk singer reacts in front of the camera of RTL Boulevard as follows: “500 thousand on RTL 5, which is a relatively small channel, that’s pretty good. And then another 300 thousand on Videoland. That’s 800 thousand. That’s not so bad.”
“Carlo is very faint!”
John’s friend, who also appears in the soap, is annoyed by Carlo. “That’s very lame, but it doesn’t matter. I’d rather have 500 thousand people who like it than a million who don’t, you know? So it doesn’t matter at all. We are now going to the Televizier gala. haha!”
Media celebrities don’t like to laugh at all. “It’s been coming for years, but now it’s final. With the nomination of The Hunting Season and De Bevers for the Gouden Televizier-Ring 2022, the once prestigious public award has gone bankrupt,” says Angela de Jong, for example. in her column.
‘Hope for Just Till Here’
Viewing authority Tina Nijkamp is also surprised about the nomination of De Bevers. “Ahem, very surprising. That’s for sure. Very much miss Heel Holland Bakt in this list. Think Hunting Season is going to win, hope for Even Till Here.”
Luuk Ikink thinks De Bevers has a good chance. “VI will also be broadcast that evening and Johan Derksen is a good friend of John de Bever, so he might say: ‘Vote guys!’”
And Britt Dekker: “I think Even Until Hier is fantastic. You give them a lot of credit.”
John is very happy:
