John de Bever thinks it is a shame that AD media journalist Marcus den Blanken, a colleague of Angela de Jong, has actively opposed the Televizier nomination of De Bevers.
At the beginning of the month, the reality series De Bevers was one of the three contenders for the Gouden Televizier-Ring, a prestigious television prize. The program owed its nomination to a very intensive PR campaign by John de Bever and his friend. There has been quite a bit of annoyance about this, for example with Carlo Boszhard.

He provided people who wanted to vote for De Bevers with the wrong voting number, namely that of Even Tot Hier. “Do you want De Bevers to win the Televizier-Ring tonight? Then text Ring 2 to 2580!” was his false joke.
John is quite pissed about that. “It was meant by him as a joke, but I think this is outrageous and not normal from someone who calls himself a journalist! I also read on social media that many people who wanted to vote for De Bevers did not get their vote. So yes, just say it…”, he says in the Party.

Marcus said a day after his offending tweet that his message was meant as a joke: “I understand there was some confusion about this tweet and the one about Hunting Season. These tweets were of course a nod to the two programs that campaigned on social media and Even Tot Hier did not.”
