Johannes Oerding on an ICE tour: Dates, stages, photos

Johannes Oerding gives four concerts at four train stations in one day as part of the “Fastest Tour”.

Johannes Oerding is touring Germany this Thursday (May 25th) by train: from his home town of Münster via Düsseldorf to Karlsruhe and then to the big final concert in Ulm. The live concerts take place directly in or in front of the main train stations.

At the first three stations in Münster, Düsseldorf and Karlsruhe, the singer will be on stage with his band for the concerts. In Ulm, the tour will be celebrated in the evening with a final concert of around 60-90 minutes. Deutsche Bahn uses its climate-friendly ICE for this purpose.

“Four concerts at four different locations in just one day – that will be my personal record. I am very excited to meet many people. Travel connects – just like music. We will experience a very special atmosphere together,” says Johannes Oerding.

More about Oerding and the tour

With the “Fastest Tour” as an initiative of Deutsche Bahn, they want to demonstrate that switching from the car to the ICE is worthwhile, especially for the climate. On the route of the “Fastest Tour” from Münster via Düsseldorf and Karlsruhe to Ulm, the ICE saves an average of around 80 kilograms of CO2 compared to a car. It is not yet known whether the Oerding train will be late.

Last year the tour took place with Max Giesinger and around 3,000 music fans in Hamburg, Berlin, Leipzig and Wiesbaden.
