Johannes Kühn back in training ahead of the relay race

Good news for the German biathletes: Johannes Kühn returned to training two days before the relay at the home World Championships in Oberhof.

The 31-year-old was able to complete the official men’s session in the Arena am Rennsteig on Thursday without any noticeable problems. In the singles on Tuesday, the in-form Bavarian had to pause for health reasons.

At the beginning of the World Championships, Kühn was the best German in the sprint and pursuit, finishing eighth and sixth. In full health, he is scheduled for the relay over 4×7.5 kilometers on Saturday (11:45 a.m. / ARD and Eurosport).
