Arjen Lubach is back with his daily program The Evening Show with Arjen Lubach, in which he not only goes through current affairs but also receives famous guests. Yesterday he had Pieter Derks at his desk in the season opener. According to Johan Derksen, those conversations with celebrities are really not acceptable.

It is by far the worst part of The Evening Show, Johan judges in Today Inside. “I also want to say something about Lubach. It starts again tonight. Lubach I watch out of interest. I met that boy once here in the hall, he had a cap on and I didn’t recognize him at all. Then he introduced himself nicely.”
He continues: “He seems like a very nice guy, but I don’t understand the magic of Lubach. He has a very good editorial staff, he reads that from the autocue and then he has to do an interview and he really has to do it himself. Then it’s a house-garden-and-kitchen conversation.”
Magic
Johan does not understand why Arjen is so praised by everyone. “Why that is so magical and amazing… Yes, a lot of people look at it and I always think: why?! What he does… If they give me that autocue, I will read it too.”
The gossip circulating about Arjen’s alleged misconduct has not been discussed by VI. Rumor has it that the presenter may be behind the juice is spread over him on the juice channels.
