Johan Derksen on the mat at Talpa management: ‘Damage control’

After his damning statements about colleague Johnny de Mol, Johan Derksen had a conversation with the management of Talpa. “Damage control I assume?” said colleague Wilfred Genee.

According to Luuk Ikink, there are few people in Hilversum who dare to express their disapproval of Johnny de Mol, but the great Talpa stars Johan Derksen and René van der Gijp do. They think that Johnny is guilty of the abuse of Shima Kaes and think that he should be off the TV for the time being.

on the mat

It is obvious that Talpa is not happy with this internal attack on Johnny. Johan was called to the fore yesterday by Talpa-bobo Marco Louwerens, colleague Wilfred Genee revealed yesterday evening in Today Inside: “You visited the management this afternoon. Damage control I assume?”

Johan then: “I was invited. At the radio studio.”

Wilfred: “Director is sitting there.”

Johan: “Well, I once told him the truth!”

different story

Wilfred: “I assume you’ve heard a different story now, haven’t you? That things are completely different now?”

René: “Oh, they told you all?”

Johan: “Well, look. If Johnny has dealt a blow then you are always wrong, so that is why this (raises two fingers, ed.) is not so wise. But that Peter Plasman is of course a very good lawyer and the other party, that lady, Shima Kaes, that’s a kind of borderline, you know.”

Borderline

The Talpa management managed to do just that: Johan portrays the opposing team as unstable. “Those are those fighting relationships, then there are blows and then Johnny has been so stupid, he also lashed out once. But a file on that lady is being put together and if she goes to court, nothing of her will be left, so I think that lady…”

Wilfred: “I assume that was said?”

Johan: “No, I conclude that. That the lady will regret that very much, because that Plasman seems to have a very, very large file. You don’t just have that lady. Johnny had a relationship with that lady, but also a whole group of semi-underworld around it, huh? It’s all very annoying, but again, if Johnny hits a woman, he’s still in violation. You do not do that.”

media power

Wilfred then points to Johnny’s media power. “The tricky part is, of course, that he has the opportunity, at least through Talpa, to talk to you about it”

Johan: “Yes, but that lady has such an agent who approached her with the announcement: ‘I can get some money from here.’ And he leaked everything, so the whole story got publicity, didn’t he?”

Yet Johan maintains his opinion that Johnny should be off the air for the time being: “Johnny chooses this, but I had chosen… If you are in a talk show like this and have to talk about all subjects and also have to crack a critical note, then you are not free to talk when this is hanging over your head. Then you have to leave for a while.”

Worry

Wilfred: “But based on the information you received today, he shouldn’t have anything to worry about?”

John: “Well, no. New. If he has dealt a blow, he must be really concerned. But the other party is a foolish borderline, so he has a file that has to go in two suitcases.”

Suzanne Schulting, Olympic short track champion: “When men hit women… You just can’t do that, so yeah… If that’s the case, then they have to be dealt with. That is very simple.”

Wilfred: “Even if, as Johan states, it is a girl who has borderline?”

Suzanne: “Well, I don’t know the case well, but if it’s the case that he hit a woman, that’s just not possible.”

Wilfred: “That’s the core, isn’t it, whatever Johan says: if someone is beaten, that is simply not possible.”

Johan: “Then you are never strong, no.”
