Johan Derksen finds Johnny de Mol’s Easter holiday ‘really ridiculous’

Johan Derksen thinks it is ‘really ridiculous’ that Johnny de Mol went on Easter holidays. “An entire organization is in turmoil and panic and comes in panting because Johnny had to go on vacation.”

Johnny de Mol went on Easter holidays yesterday and that is why Hélène Hendriks takes over his talk show HLF8. This naturally improves the program considerably, but Johan Derksen finds it – apart from all the hassle surrounding Johnny’s assault case – very lax if you treat your own program in this way.

‘Really ridiculous’

Apparently Johnny couldn’t wait for the summer break, Johan notes in Today Inside† “Yes, Johnny is on holiday to Portugal or to Veenhuizen (where the largest prison in the Northern Netherlands is, ed.), you never know with Johnny, but I think it’s really ridiculous that someone who has their own talk show and who doesn’t once runs so well – so you have to be on top of that to make the most of it – just take a break for the holidays.”

It’s really unusual, says Johan. “I would like to see how the management of Talpa reacts when we say at Pentecost: ‘We won’t be there that week!’ I find it very easy.”

‘Cunt on Dirk’

Political reporter Sam Hagens, Johnny’s regular guest – even after Shima Kaes’ leaked report, says: “He’s only been gone for three days. Is that really bad?”

Johan: “Yes, that is very yes, Sam, yes. You know, these kinds of comments bother me. It really hits like shit on Dirk. If you have your own talk show, then you should be there. Jinek is always there.”

Wilfred Genee laughs: “Well, he’s there three months a year.”

Johan: “Okay, but those are agreements. But a talk show… I gave up my theater show to sit here and preach that nonsense every Monday.”

‘Ridiculous’

Wilfred: “You’re getting worked up, aren’t you?”

Johan: “Well, I think it’s too crazy for words. Then we have a board at Talpa with all those yes-men. When John de Mol farts, they all think it smells good.”

Wilfred: “Yeah, but you’re good with John, aren’t you?”

Johan: “Yes, no, I’m fine with those people, but I don’t always have to agree with them, do I?”

“Laughter!”

Johan also points out that the entire organization is in a panic because of Johnny’s Easter holidays. “Johnny de Mol is gone, which I find strange. Then Hélène has to go to Amsterdam to observe Johnny, but Hélène actually had to sit here with Veronica to do the football.”

“Then you should do football, race Hélène from Amsterdam to here, then you should run here. An entire organization is in turmoil and panic and comes in panting because Johnny had to go on vacation. laughable! That’s not how you make TV.”
