Vocalist Joel Hallikainen60, sells his partner Piia Hallikainen with its detached house in Raisio. Hallikainen built the house almost 30 years ago with the money his family earned from his music career. The house, completed in 1994, has raised five children and lived a lot of memories.

The halls are selling the house because of the changed life situation. The children of Hallikainen have moved away from home and the 300-square-foot house has become too big for two.

– All the children have left the world a little quietly. Everyone, in turn, seems to have slipped into their lives.

– My wife and I have been together for a long time and we have such a stage in our lives that we have returned to the starting box, Hallikainen sums up.

The price request for the house is 480,000 euros. Hallikainen believes the amount is reasonable and compares it to the Helsinki housing market, where you would get a triangle at the same price.

– If I could choose whether I would live in a 300 square meter detached house in Helsinki or Raisio, it would not be a difficult choice, Hallikainen laughs.

Hallikainen’s house was once an attraction that was visited by tourist buses and photographed by helicopter. The house attracted media interest during the golden age of Hallikainen’s career in the 90s, but the man made a policy not to show the house to outsiders. He outlines that the house is not just a house, but their home. A place of refuge for outsiders.

The new apartment is not yet known. However, Hallikainen says that he no longer wants to move into a detached house. That phase has already been seen and experienced.

Hallikainen expects new winds in life. He welcomes the easing of restrictions and the recovery of the industry. New music is coming from Hallikainen and the gig calendar has already started to be filled.

– The name of my new song I just released is Alive. I think it describes well this time and the situation in life that I would survive through all this. Family stay together, marriage stay together, house stay together, Hallikainen says.
