US President Joe Biden met the king Charles III, on Monday, July 10, during his short visit to Great Britain. It is the first meeting between Biden and Charles since Charles’ coronation.

Biden and Charles met at Windsor Castle. Biden first followed an honor guard of hundreds of soldiers, reports CNN, among others. The military band played the national anthem of the United Kingdom when the king arrived, and the national anthem of the United States when Biden arrived.
