Job Knoester, regular guest of Today Inside, no longer wants to sit in Shownieuws. He tried it last week, but he didn’t like it. “It is very lighthearted.”
Criminal lawyer Job Knoester thoroughly enjoys his performances in Today Inside, but he didn’t like his trip to Shownieuws. He was there last week and was teased about it yesterday at the table at VI. “Job, just among us. What was that last?” Wilfred Genee asked him in surprise.
Form of cheating
Wilfred hadn’t expected it from Job. Sarcastic: “I don’t want to be difficult, but it’s a form of cheating. We saw you slide past in a program we didn’t expect you to do. You were just at Shownieuws.”
Job: “I don’t think you should underestimate how clever it is when you sit there and talk for so long with a straight face about the quarrel in the Hazes family and things like that. You have to have some respect for it, I think.”
Lighter than expected
Wilfred: “But you want to be on TV so badly that you take everything with you?”
Job: “Well, I went there to talk about the criminal case against Peter Gillis and the idea that liquidations were cheaper. That seems like a nice topic to talk about, but I have to admit: it’s a bit lighter there than I expected.”
‘I’m not going anymore’
Wilfred: “Even more light-hearted than here actually.”
Yes, agrees Job. He no longer goes to Shownieuws. “Yes, it is really very light there. It was a learning experience. Then you know better what you do and don’t want to do. It was fun, but it was a one-off.”
