It scores slightly less than half the number of viewers of Today Inside, but the summer replacement Marcel & Gijs cannot be called a flop. They score fairly consistently against 400 thousand viewers and that is not really bad for SBS 6. How do the regular guests of VI actually watch this program?
Job laughs out loud
Job Knoester, the table guest of Today Inside who is known for being very proud of his participation in that talk show, actually watches it with pleasure, he confesses on Twitter.
The criminal lawyer says: “Good. I didn’t want to say too much about it but I will anyway. I didn’t have that many expectations of the talk show by Marcel van Roosmalen and Gijs Groenteman, but I really enjoy watching it with increasing pleasure. Often a smile and sometimes even out loud.”
No open application
It’s no secret that Job is a bit media g**l. In addition to Today Inside, he also appeared in programs such as HLF8 and Shownieuws. Is he just preying on an invitation from Marcel & Gijs? “No. This is not an open application for people to think again.”
His statements are only intended as a ‘viewing tip’, according to Job. “Johan was right after all,” he says, pointing to the fact that the idea for Marcel & Gijs came from Johan Derksen.
Raymond also positive
Raymond Mens, another VI regular guest, is also positive. “Same here! Notice more and more that I’m watching with a wide smile. Nice guests and nice dynamics. It is admittedly a lot slower than VI, but that is fine on a balmy summer evening.”
And Jochem van Gelder: “The two brilliant bungles Marcel and Gijs put another wonderful broadcast on the mat, thanks in part to master disruptor Theo Hiddema. Gonna miss them in a week and a half.”
