Jo Squillo robbed in Rome: what happened

The singer is fresh from the Sanremo adventure where she acted as a correspondent for the program The right time by Caterina Balivo. Back in Rome, he left the car in Via Ojetti at 8.00 pm to go and eat in a place near the Rai studios. Then the bad surprise: the car was opened, the windows broken, and the three suitcases he had left inside were taken away by thieves.

The story on social media

«Well yes, it happened to me too»: this is how the sad story that Jo Squillo wanted to share with her followers begins. “This is how I found the car,” he writes, showing the open car.

«In Rome, in front of a bank, they smashed the car window and took away all my suitcases because I was leaving. I stopped for half an hour to eat a chip » she says. Adding: «Maybe they were keeping an eye on us, a little lightness on my part in leaving things inside the car. Or maybe the hope that it never happens. I am always trusting towards others, I would leave the door open. But no, you can’t» she says, visibly tired. She explained that she had shared what happened “With the hope that all this can help someone live better”.

What did they steal

The thieves took away «Three suitcases with my story: songs, feelings, projects, memorable clothes, computers, documents…» explains the singer.

And then «Credit card, money, wonderful clothes because I had made this trip to Sanremo so all clothes of a rather nice choice. Important clothes but also clothes of memory, clothes that you would always wear. And then precious jewels that have been part of my life for thirty years » she adds.

A difficult time for Jo Squillo

Jo Squillo does not hide her state of mind: «This is truly a very difficult moment for me because detaching yourself from the things you are fond of is very bad» he tells his followers.

Concluding: «It’s very hard, but the nice thing is that nothing happened to me, we’re fine. Nothing happened to our health, no accident happened so these are things that hurt, they hurt but we look forward.”
