The scammers are now presenting Jimm’s PC-Store in Turku, known for its online store of computers and components. Corporate by a scam message spreads on social media services claiming that the recipient has won the competition.
Jimm’s speculates that the scam involves a real lottery of the company at Tiktok, which has set the scammers in motion.
The scam claims that the recipient was randomly selected as the winner. To redeem the profit, you should copy the link in the message and enter the phone number and other information on the website that opens.
– Good luck and God’s blessing, the message ends, after which a link is sent as a separate message.
This is a very common scam where criminals claim that the target of the scam has won something. In reality, the subject is being tried to fill in their data and thus their expensive order or, in even more serious cases, enter their bank details, allowing criminals to try to clear the victim’s account.
Jimm’s recalls that it only has one official account per some channel. The company does not send mysterious links or ask for credit card information or other private information.

In the case of scammers, it is worth paying special attention now. Scammers are now also exploiting the war in Ukraine, in connection with which “charity messages” are being spread. These messages appear as charities with the intent of cheating people on “donations”. In reality, no donations are involved, the money goes directly to the criminals.
