Actor Jim Carrey, 60, is considering ending his career. Carrey shared her thoughts on quitting Access Hollywood in an interview with the program.
Carrey is currently promoting Sonic the Movie 2 film in which he plays Dr. Ivo “Eggman” Robotnik. That role may be his last.
When the presenter asked Carrey if he was serious about quitting, he replied:
– I’m pretty serious. It depends. If the angels bring me a manuscript written in golden ink and tells me it’s really important to make it visible to people, I might go on. But I take a break.

Carrey says she enjoys her life away from the limelight and wants to focus on her painting hobby and family.
– I like my quiet life. I love to paint, I love my spiritual life, and I feel – no celebrity will ever say that – that I have enough. I’ve done enough. I’ll have enough, he ponders.
A tremendous career
Carrey became famous in the 1990s after appearing on the television series In Living Color. His final breakthrough came in 1994 when he appeared in blockbusters Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, The Mask – Maskas well as Dumb and Dumber. The roles give birth to new pests.
