Jeweler employees in Amsterdam robbed and assaulted on the street, two 16-year-old suspects arrested

Two employees of a jeweler were robbed and assaulted during a street robbery on Buikslotermeerplein in Amsterdam North. It concerns two employees of a jewelry store on the square. Two suspects have been arrested, they are 16 years old from Amsterdam.

Two suspects with face coverings harassed the employees of the jeweler just after 9.30 am as they walk from their car to the company premises. A witness says that it seems that the two have been waiting on the street, then they are said to have been attacked and their head was hit. Among other things, a window ticker would have been used.

After the struggle, the suspects ran towards a waiting scooter, but bystanders prevented them from driving away. Their flight continued on foot, but they were arrested a short time later. So it concerns two Amsterdammers of 16 years old.

According to witnesses, the victims were taken to hospital in an ambulance. The severity of their injuries is unknown.
