The Hague – According to climate minister Jetten, the fact that the European Commission wants to give the green light for additional investments in natural gas, among other things, has no consequences for the Dutch ambitions to significantly reduce CO2 emissions. In the coming years, measures will be taken to reduce these emissions, such as making homes natural gas-free, generating hydrogen and making industry greener. It also gives the green light for investments in nuclear energy.
