Jesse Puljujärvi was in good shape for the AHL’s Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins as the team downed the Hartford Wolf Pack 4–1.
Puljujärvi scored 1+1. His balance for the whole season is now 3+3 in nine games.
The Finnish striker’s goal came after only a minute of play. He shot sharply from the wing, and the puck slipped past the goalkeeper Louis Domingue of equipment in.

Later, the person from Tornia passed by Samuel Poulin a handsome 4–0 hit. The cross-pass hit the defender’s stick on the way, but Poulin surprisingly poked the puck over Domingue’s shoulder.
In December, Puljujärvi had a trial period contract with the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins, but did not fit into the team’s lineup yet, having just recovered from hip surgery.
