“Jerry wanted to pick up a piece of debris, but he paid for it with his life”: father of Jerry (43) testifies after double collision on E34 | Lille

He simply didn’t want to stop traffic. When 43-year-old Jerry wanted to pick up some debris after a serious rear-end collision on the E34 on Monday morning, the man was hit a second time by a truck. The father of a daughter (12) succumbed to his injuries in hospital. Jerry’s father Guido testifies to HLN: “He always wanted to do good and not be a burden to anyone. It has now cost him his life.”
