Boateng left Olympique Lyon in the summer of 2023. In Italy he has a contract until the end of the season. The 35-year-old completed his medical check on Thursday.
The central defender is supposed to save the bottom of the Serie A table in the relegation battle. Salernitana only has twelve points after 22 games and is behind.
