Has really no one in Hilversum heard Tina Nijkamp’s tsunami alarm? She warned of the tidal wave of Jeroen van Koningsbrugge shows, but no one closes the floodgates.
Tina Nijkamp, the country’s most famous viewing figure expert, was really fed up with all those programs that Jeroen van Koningsbrugge is in at the end of April. If you shout very loudly ‘BN’er panel’ at the Mediapark, he will be next to you within four seconds. And that disturbs the former channel boss of SBS 6 immensely.
Overexposed
It’s starting to become a bit of a plague, says Tina. Last night she was zapping unsuspectingly on the couch again and then it hit again. While the Kamp Van Koningsbrugge program was in full swing on NPO 1, he was on RTL 4 at exactly the same time in Secret Duets.
The measure is full for Tina. “Isn’t this unbelievable??? How overexposed can you be?! Jeroen van Koningsbrugge can already be seen in almost all Dutch panel shows and so he apparently said yes to Secret Duets again. But he is programmed against himself tonight because his Kamp Van Koningsbrugge can now be seen on NPO 1! she roars.
‘How is this possible?!’
According to Tina, this craziness really needs to stop. “How is this possible? Doesn’t he ask, “When does Secret Duets air?” How important are those extra few cents to say yes to Secret Duets? And how angry is AvroTros about this?”
Tina thinks AvroTros is really pissed off about this. “I think furious, although they will say outwardly that they do not find it undesirable. But of course it is.”
Jeroen beats Jeroen
What about the ratings? NPO 1’s Kamp van Koningsbrugge won yesterday with 857 thousand viewers (19 percent market share) against RTL 4’s Secret Duets, which scored 726 thousand viewers (16 percent).
The smiling third is SBS 6, which was the big winner in prime time. mr. Frank Visser Doet Uitspraak scored 905 thousand viewers (21 percent) and Today Inside had 958 thousand viewers (23 percent).
Is it finally low tide in this Jeroen van Koningsbrugge universe? Yes. But not for long. “Tomorrow, Jeroen will be seen again in a panel on RTL 4: that of Best Viewers,” concludes Tina.
