The search for the best dry sausage in the country is not dry matter but serious business. No Baltazar Boma stuff here, just look, smell and taste.
In pre-selection, select butchers taste the work of their colleagues. A top five is then chosen from the 36 types of dry sausage, in which a neutral jury of experts, led by star chef Peter Goossens, makes the final decision. Jeroen Lievens from Keurslager Jeroen and Joyce from Avelgem is the ultimate winner.
