On April 6, Jeremy Renner will give an interview for the first time since his serious accident on New Year’s Day. He was run over by a snowmobile and flown to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

The one-hour feature was produced by US broadcaster ABC. It will reconstruct the accident and show the aftermath for the Marvel star. The film is subtitled A Story of Terror, Survival and Triumph. Diane Sawyer will sit across from the actor. In a first teaser published by the media company, she reads the list of Renner’s injuries, among other things. Bearing this in mind, it is a miracle that the 52-year-old survived the accident.

The serious incident happened after Renner cleared his ranch’s driveway of snow with the caterpillar and turned it off. As the vehicle began to slide toward his nephew, who was also there, he decided to jump up and pull the emergency brake. During this attempt, the seven-ton vehicle hit him.

Even after the experience in his private life, he doesn’t want to lose the superhero attitude of his long-standing role “Hawkeye”. When asked if he would do it again, he quickly and resolutely replies, “Yes,” though he can remember every part of the pain. The video closes with a sentence that sums up the harshness of the man’s attitude: “I chose to survive. ‘It won’t kill me. Never.'”

It was only last Monday (March 27) that Renner shared the last major update on his rapid recovery. He is now able to walk on an anti-gravity treadmill again. It is unclear whether the interview in Germany will be broadcast on the broadcaster’s YouTube channel. Usually news is broadcast there. However, all programs can also be received in this country via a VPN or provider such as “USTVnow”.
