Jeremy from ‘Extreme Makeover’ very emotional about dream home, but then another surprise follows: “This is over” | TV

TVIn ‘Extreme Makeover Flanders’, James Cooke and his team visited Jeremy, who was paralyzed after a serious cycling accident. Their dream was to make their home wheelchair accessible. In any case, the unveiling caused a lot of emotions.


‘Move that bus!’ When the bus pulls away, Jeremy and his family get to see their renovated home for the first time. And that immediately triggers emotions. “When I saw the facade, I immediately thought it was very beautiful,” it sounds. Jeremy even sheds a tear: “I want a hug.”


This third episode of ‘Extreme Makeover Vlaandere’n revolved around mobility; limit the obstacles Jeremy encounters due to his wheelchair as much as possible and increase his mobility. That is why, as icing on the cake, he got one more big surprise… A car that will be converted to his needs. “That’s about it, actually,” Sofie sighs. “But of course we are very happy, especially for him.”

Jeremy and Sofie also recorded a diary during the recording period. They tell how they experienced the adventure. “We are now four weeks further, and we really feel at home”, it sounds, among other things. “When that car was added, you cannot describe that. We were already grateful with that house, and then that car still. Wow.”
