18 years ago her first engagement burst, but now it should be for eternity. The singer posted a sweet video announcing the happy news.
The short clip shows the engagement ring and J.Lo, who is visibly touched and sheds a few tears of joy while admiring her bling.
J.Lo and Ben only started dating again last May, sparking a real romance sensation. Since last summer, Lopez and Affleck have presented themselves publicly as a couple and now the romantic engagement follows. This big step shows how serious they are.
J.Lo and Ben met and fell in love on the set of their film Gigli in December 2001.
The film was torn apart by critics, but the dream couple “Bennifer” was born. They became engaged in November 2002, but after their wedding was initially postponed, they finally split in 2004.
Ben finally married another Jennifer in 2005: he had three children with actress Jennifer Garner (49), but their marriage failed in 2018.
J.Lo also found her happiness in love with someone else in 2004: she married singer Marc Anthony (53) and had twins with him, but her marriage also broke up in 2014.
Now, after almost two decades, J.Lo and Ben have finally found each other again and are crowning their happiness in love with a phat bling. And that is something very special. Ben knows his Jen very well and knows that the color green has a great meaning for the singer.

While he got down on his knees with a pink diamond in 2002, this time he chose a green stone. The singer revealed: “I always say green is my lucky color. I’ve realized that there are many moments in my life where amazing things happened while I was wearing green.”
J.Lo also alluded to her most legendary fashion moment.
“Perhaps you can remember a particular green dress.”
The singer is referring to the green Versace dress she wore to the 2000 Grammy Awards. The eye-catching dress brought her a lot of attention and the performance was a crucial milestone in her career.
Ben seems to have been particularly attentive to his fiancé’s preferences and shows how well he knows his Jen.
But maybe Ben just wanted to make sure that Jennifer’s favorite color would also bring luck to her second attempt at love…
