Dr. Jenni Haukio will host Linna’s party for the last time. One of the most anticipated outfits of the evening is invariably worn by Haukio. This time he dressed in a 13-year-old outfit.

Doctor Jenni Haukio dressed in a familiar outfit from previous Linna parties. She was seen in the same dress earlier in 2010, when she was not yet in the main spotlight. The costume has been modded to this day especially because of the badges worn by Haukio. For example, sleeves have been added to it.
Haukio has reused his outfits before. Now the costume has been renewed together with the model master Karina Vainion with.
– My personal position is that no garment is a disposable product. In our time, it should be clear, Haukio told the media at the beginning of Linna’s celebrations.

The most anticipated outfit of the evening
Haukio’s costume is without exception the most anticipated at Linna’s parties. Her style at the Independence Day reception has always been classically elegant without any big excesses. Haukio trusts himself and his own style.
Sleeves have always been a part of Haukio’s style. In the last 12 years, he has been making a splash with, for example, one-shouldered suits. The classic and lace-embellished evening dresses with small sleeves are also typical of Haukio. When an old suit has been modded again to this day, sleeves have often been added. With a sleeved evening dress, badges can be worn according to etiquette.
Haukio had time to celebrate Independence Day as the president’s spouse 12 times. Here’s a look at past years’ costumes.
In 2012, for the first time as the president’s spouse, Haukio wore a blue and white evening dress designed by Paola Suhonen. The outfit was decorated with tongue patterning, i.e. Finland’s national flower.
Tampere Talo served as the stage for Linna’s party in 2013, and the etiquette was also different then. Haukio hosted the party then in a one-shoulder, glittering sheath dress.
Haukio of 2014 wore a classic light blue evening dress that reminded me of Cinderella.
At Linna’s party in 2015, Haukio was seen in a fuchsia outfit. The evening dress was designed by Sari Nordström.
A strong purple evening dress charmed in 2016. It was seen as accessories at Haukio Mika Tarkkanen Necklaces and brooches from the Monument series, which breathe the atmosphere of the Sibelius monument.
In 2017, Haukio celebrated Independence Day in an emerald green silk suit. She was pregnant at the time.
Haukio’s outfit in 2018 was made of Ioncell fabric, which is made of birch. The style of the outfit was exceptionally futuristic and elegantly minimalist.
In 2019, Haukio was seen at Linna’s party in the same outfit as in 2015. Now, lace sleeves were added to the outfit.
In 2020, Independence Day was celebrated virtually due to exceptional circumstances. The dress code was a dark suit, allowing for a shorter hemline for women. Haukio then wore a suit with showy sleeves that covered the knees.
The year 2021 was also exceptional. Then Haukio represented in a two-piece outfit, which consisted of a silver glittering upper part, again with showy sleeves, and a black lower part.
In 2022, there was another celebration in Linna, when Haukio was seen in a grey-toned domestic custom-made suit. She had previously been seen in the same outfit at the coronation of the Emperor of Japan in 2019.
