Not to overcome guilt

The Munich team initially had problems finding solutions on the offensive, but became increasingly dangerous after a good quarter of an hour. Bayern captain Lina Magull finally had the first chance. After a nice combination with Linda Dallmann, she appeared free in front of Jena goalkeeper Inga Schuldt and didn’t get any pressure behind the ball. The goalkeeper had the ball safely (14th). After 27 minutes at the latest, the lead should have fallen for the guests. Hanna Glas played a nice plug-in pass to Lea Schüler, who shot powerfully from a short distance. Schuldt saved with a brilliant save. Jena defended in a concentrated manner and saved the 0-0 lead at half-time, also thanks to an outstanding goalkeeper.

Early own goal as a knot solver

The lead came a few seconds after the restart. After Jena kicked off, the Munich team immediately attacked and forced defender Denise Landmann to pass back. However, he failed and ended up unluckily in his own goal (46th). A few minutes later, Bayern increased again. Sydney Lohmann brought a cross from the left wing into the penalty area and found Schüller, who pushed the ball over the line from close range (49′). Less than ten minutes later, the next blow to the neck followed for Jena. Karla Görlitz brought down Dallmann in the penalty area. The referee pointed to the point. Giulia Gwinn stepped up and safely converted to 3:0 (56th). The final point was finally set by Schüller, who headed the ball in the 66th minute after a cross from the half field to make it 4:0.

After Bayern struggled offensively in the first half, an early goal in the second half loosened the knot. In the end, Jena clearly lost 4-0.
