Plastics presenter Jellie Brouwer has died at the age of 59 from the effects of cancer. Brouwer was one of the regular presenters of the NTR program Kunststof on NPO Radio 1 for over 20 years.
Earlier this week it was announced that Brouwer was terminally ill. Editor-in-chief Yvonne Hoksbergen reported in Monday’s broadcast that she was “in the last phase of her life”.
The 59-year-old Jellie Brouwer has been one of the regular presenters since the start of Kunststof. The program has been on the radio since 2001.
