Jeffrey Epstein scandal: List of several celebrities published

From Michael Jackson to Donald Trump: These names were published by a US court as part of the Epstein scandal.

In the abuse scandal surrounding the late US multimillionaire Jeffrey Epstein, there has long been speculation about prominent names in his environment. As part of the civil trial between Epstein’s companion Ghislaine Maxwell and Virginie Giuffre, a US court has now published a list of 175 names that were previously anonymized as John and Jane Doe.

Prominent names in the Epstein trial

A number of actors and actresses appear in the list – including Cate Blanchett, Kevin Spacey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Cameron Diaz and Bruce Willis. Star Wars creator George Lucas, supermodel Naomi Campbell and magician David Copperfield are also mentioned, as is the astrophysicist Stephen Hawking, who died in 2018. Explosive: Michael Jackson, who died in 2009, can also be found.

Also politicians on the list

Also part of the list: former US Presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, former US Vice President and environmental activist Al Gore and Prince Andrew.

However, as the US magazine Newsweek notes, this is not a list of Epstein’s clients – so the names mentioned are by no means necessarily involved in the abuse network set up by Epstein, but rather appeared as part of the civil process.
