Jaume Peral has been dismissed as director of the stations RAC1 and RAC 105, as announced this Thursday. The journalist joined the Godó Group radio station in 2018 as deputy director, a few months after leaving the direction of TV3 in the hands of Vicent Sanchis. After a year he was promoted to the direction of the stations, replacing the until then director Ramon Rovira.

Peral leaves RAC1 being the leading broadcaster of Catalan radio, as it already was when it arrived. The name of the person who will succeed him at the address has not been disclosed for now.
New profile
The change of Peral, who in 2016 was appointed director of TV3 (a position that he held for a little over a year), is due to the fact that the communication company wants to “incorporate a profile more focused on management and not so much on editorial content”, as it has announced to the staff in a statement.
