The World Cross Country Cup continues on Thursday with sprints in the traditional skiing style of Drammen. Iltalehti follows the progress of the day in this story.

In the women’s qualifiers, the time lag of Sweden Johanna Hagström. Blue-yellow Jonna Sundling (+0.39) was second and Norwegian Ane Appelkvist Stenseth (+1.61) third.
Jasmi Joensuu was the sixth in the Finnish qualifiers. It’s the hardest draw of a 25-year-old skier’s career in World Cup sprint qualifiers. He was only 3.5 seconds behind Hagström. Behind Joensuu was, among other things, the Swedish star House Dahlqvist.
Of the other Finns, they advanced Johanna Matintalo (9: s), Katri Lylynperä (22: s) and Kerttu Niskanen (23: s).
