Jaromir Jagr skimmed the Washington Capitals star player To Alexander Ovetshkin On Twitter.
Jagr, 50, shared a video on his personal Twitter account in which Ovetshkin loses his finish line against Edmonton Oilers. The match was played on the night between Wednesday and Thursday in Finnish time. Oilers won a 4-3 reading at the end of the overtime.
In the video, Ovetshkin gets a puck in the corner and in front of the Russian yawns an almost empty goal. However, the attacker, who scored countless goals in his career, shot the puck over the goal.
– I already sent a congratulatory video, I need motivation to come back. I believe every record has its own plow, its own protection, Jagr wrote on Twitter.
If Ovetshkin had scored a goal against Oilers, he would have risen to third in the NHL’s all-time goal scorer statistics just past Jagrin. Both have scored 766 goals.
Earlier this week, Jagr made a spectacular rapture when he transferred the last home game of his regular season in the regular season of his club Rytiri Kladno to the O2 Arena in Prague.
14,512 spectators showed up and the Ukrainian national anthem was played before the match. Proceeds from the match were donated by Jagr to the victims of the war in Russia and the Ukrainians who fled the war.

The NHL took the plunge and donated $ 68,000 to Jagrin’s charity fund. Jagr have played 43 regular season games at 8 + 11 in the Czech Republic this season.
Ovetshkin also received bucks in the Oilers match. Edmonton is home to a lot of Ukrainians and several Ukrainian flags were seen in the match. Ovetsh has also been the focus of attention recently as he poses along with Vladimir Putin in the profile picture of his personal Instagram account.
