Jaromir Jagr liked Jason Zucker’s venting. PDO

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Jason Zucker the hockey legend paid his respects For Jaromir Jagr after scoring a goal in the NHL on Thursday.

Zucker fanned the Penguins’ opening goal by raising his hand to the cap in imitation of Jagr. The Czech’s classic performance is known in puck circles as the Jagr Salute.

The imitation was mostly well received by the fans – after all, it happened in the Penguins’ retro themed match. However, some saw the trick as a cheap copycat.

Jagr himself posted a video on Thursday night in which he commented on what he saw.

– I read some comments, and some seemed to like the ventilation, and some didn’t. I loved it. The players showed great respect for the team of our era, he said.

However, Jagrka was not offered just a caress for Zucker. The hit directly from the pass, which led to a wind-up, did not convince the Konkar player.

– Oh yeah, Jason: Just keep practicing your shot. It wasn’t hard enough, Jagr snapped.
