TPS’s season ended with a pity in the playoffs, but the star striker of the team Mikael Pyyhtien the season continues.
The NHL club Columbus Blue Jackets owns the forward’s NHL rights, and Pyyhtiä will move to Sinitakkie’s farm club Cleveland Monsters for the rest of the season.
Jarmo Kekäläinen led by the club announced the matter on Saturday on their website.
Pyyhtiä, 21, is Columbus’ fourth-round pick from summer 2020. The youngster played 47 regular season games on loan at TPS this season with 7+13=20.
Pyyhtiä made headlines last spring when he shined in the Liiga playoffs. A year ago, the speedster who was cool in the first chain of TPS knocked out 8+5=13 in 18 playoff games.
